Date with Fate Grabs Album of the Year at BPO Salute Awards

BPO Radio, an online radio streaming station for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) audience recently launched its inaugural Salute for Indie Artists Awards held at The Windsor Tavern in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

The night featured acoustic performances by various underground independent acts such as Rain Mayo, Andi Torres, Mutya, Kha’el, Pikoy, singer/songwriter Jong Sumangil, funk band Mushroom and more. Meanwhile, the group spearheaded by singer/songwriters Kuya Kurt and Jyel called KJ highlighted it by their electrifying all-out performance.

Attending the event, it was a pleasure to have some of the bands I played with get nominated on different categories and one of them came out as a surprise winner. Date with Fate grabbed home one of the most coveted awards in the ceremony, the Album of the Year Award. It was totally unexpected and felt good with the outcome. The long hardwork paid off.
