And the list of Rock n Roll legends’ deaths continue. The first month of 2016 has not ended and yet another music hero passed away. From Lemmy to Bowie to Dale Griffin and now this.
Hall of Famer, singer-songwriter and Eagles guitarist and founding member Glenn Frey was reported dead at age 67 on Monday in New York City.

According to report by Rolling Stone, Frey’s death was caused by combination of complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis, and pneumonia.

Frey was one of the co-writers and sang lead vocals on most of the Eagles hits that include “Take It Easy,” “Tequila Sunrise,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” and “Heartache Tonight.” He co-wrote “Hotel California”, “Life in the Fast Lane” and “Desperado” to name a few. He also launched his solo career and received numerous hits like “The Heat Is On” “The One You Love” and “You Belong to the City.”

May you rest in Peace.

(Trivia: The solo from the song I wrote for Date with Fate titled Summer in Mind was inspired by
the sax’s riffs of this Glenn Frey’s song, You Belong To The City)
