Just before Christmas and the year ended, the music world lost yet another great artist. This might be an old news to most but will share it anyway to some who may not know it yet and because he was one of the most influential voices in rock and blues history.
Joe Cocker, has died at age 70 of lung cancer last December 22 according to his agent Barrie Marshall who confirmed the death on
The Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter had a splendid career that lasted for more than 4 decades and became popular for his version of The Beatles’ With A Little Help From My Friends. His other hits include You Are So Beautiful and Up Where We Belong.
Cocker will always be remembered for his distinctive voice and one of the soulful singers who have emerged from Britain.
He is survived by his wife Pam.
